How it works

A diagnostic, not a quiz

The scan reads the language you actually use and looks for the parts a competitor could copy without anyone noticing. It critiques the messaging, not you.

  1. 01

    You submit your real language

Your offer, your audience, and the copy you already show people.

  2. 02

    Optional peer context

Add up to three people your audience might compare you with.

  3. 03

    The scan

Your text is read against five positioning dimensions by an AI strategist.

  4. 04

    Your report

A score, the phrases that blend in, what might be yours, and one next move.

The five dimensions

Category Sameness (higher means more sameness)
How much of your language, claims, and framing resemble common patterns in your category?
Audience Specificity (higher is better)
How clearly can someone recognize whether your offer is meant for them?
Problem Specificity (higher is better)
Does your messaging describe a lived, specific problem rather than a broad category problem?
Distinctive Mechanism (higher is better)
Do you have a recognizable way, method, process, or philosophy for producing the result?
Ownable Point of View (higher is better)
Does your brand express ideas that feel attributable to you rather than merely correct?

How the score is calculated

The Doppelgänger Score is a weighted estimate: Category Sameness 30%, plus the inverse of Problem Specificity 20%, Distinctive Mechanism 20%, Audience Specificity 15% and Ownable Point of View 15%. Higher means more interchangeable.

This is an AI-assisted strategic diagnostic, not an objective or scientific measurement of brand value.
